This sweet college basketball tee celebrates the Connecticut Huskies and their championship victory during the 1999 NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Tournament. 1998-1999 was an exciting season for the Huskies as they made their first ever Final Four appearance to earn their first ever national championship. Under the leadership of head coach Jim Calhoun, UConn defeated the Duke Blue Devils in the finals with a score of 77 to 74. The game was played at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, Florida and the MVP award was given to Richard Hamilton, who was later selected during the first round of the NBA draft to play for the Washington Wizards.
