This cool vintage band shirt features the cover art for Eldorado, the fourth studio album released by the Electric Light Orchestra. The cover art features an image from the movie The Wizard of Oz, that shows the wicked witch trying to take Dorothy’s magic slippers. Eldorado was ELO’s first complete concept album and singer-songwriter Jeff Lynne wrote the storyline for the album before ever writing any of the actual music. The album tells the story of a Walter Mitty-like character who escapes from his mundane life by journeying into a fantasy world through his dreams. This was the first album in which Lynne opted to hire an orchestra for recordings instead of just overdubbing the strings.

The album featured the song “Can’t Get it Out of My Head”, which became the band’s first top ten hit in the US. Eldorado also became the group’s first gold album. By this time, ELO had become a prominent attraction on the stadium and arena circuit and they made several appearances on the late-night musical variety show, The Midnight Special. The group followed Eldorado by releasing Face the Music in 1975. This album contained their hit song “Evil Woman”.

Fits like a modern unisex adult small.
