This awesome tee is a souvenir commemorating the 1986 Missouri Magic Convention. This annual event later came to be known as the Midwest Magic Jubilee, and it is a three day convention designed to celebrate the art of magic. The Jubilee’s history can be traced all the way back to 1956 when it was founded by the Society of American Magicians. In its early days, the convention would alternate between being hosted in Kansas City and St. Louis, before St. Louis eventually became its permanent home.

The shirt also mentions Tall Clubs International, which is a social organization in North America for tall individuals. The 1986 Magic Convention was hosted by the St. Louis Tip Toppers which is the city’s¬†local chapter of Tall Clubs International. A few notable magicians that attended the convention in 1986 included Goldfinger and Dove, Jeff Hobson, and Howard Hale.
