This awesome baby shirt comes from a Japanese television series that aired in the 70s, called Himitsu Sentai Goranger. It was a live action series created by influential manga artist Shotaro Ishinomori, known for creating Cyborg 009 and the Kamen Rider Series.

The plot centered around five agents from an International Secret Defense Organization known as EAGLE or the Earth Guard League. The organization fought against an evil terrorist organization known as the Black Cross Army. An attack from the Black Cross wiped out all of EAGLE’s agents accept for five. These five agents became the Himitsu Sentai Goranger. The series contained 84 episodes and spawned several movies and a manga series.

Himitsu Sentai Goranger was the first of the Super Sentai Series created by Shotaro Ishinomori. It would lead to a number of Super Sentai shows that depicted similar crime fighting squads with colorful special effects that were aimed at children. Eventually in the 90s, one of the series, Kyoryu Sentai Zyuranger, would became the basis for the popular American live action series Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. Since then nearly every Super Sentai series that followed has become a new season of Power Rangers

The tag says 6 but this shirt fits like a modern unisex baby 18-24 months.
