This awesome ringer t-shirt features the villainous Snidely Whiplash from the beloved 1960s cartoon series The Adventures of Rocky and Bullwinkle and Friends. Whiplash was the main antagonist of the show’s “Dudley Do-Right of the Mounties” segments, and here he is shown holding up a document labeled mortgage, which might be a reference to the season 2 episode “Fireclosing Mortgages”. During the episode, Snidely forecloses mortgages and leaves his victims to face the Canadian winter homeless. Dudley must stop him, but first he must win the mortgage of the R.C.M.P. camp back from Snidely in a card game.

Snidely’s design was based on stereotypical villain stock characters found in silent films of the early 1900s. He was especially known for repeatedly kidnapping Inspector Fenwick’s daughter Nell and tying her to the railroad tracks.
